Join us for one of the most powerful worship services all year. We begin by remembering Jesus' gift of Holy Eucharist the night before his death. After Eucharist, the altar is stripped of all adornment in preparation for Good Friday. Finally, all are invited (but not required) to participate in a foot-washing as Jesus washed the feet of his disciples that last night. Childcare is available during this offering.
Just as Jesus asked his disciples in Gethsemane to watch and pray with him as he prepared for the cross, Nativity members will stay up through the night and pray in the church in preparation for Good Friday. If you would like to claim a one hour time slot between the end of the Maundy Thursday service and the beginning of the Good Friday service, contact the church office.
