Mission Statement

Nativity Day School is a ministry of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. The mission of Nativity Day School is to promote each child’s intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual growth in a nurturing, safe environment, seeking in all aspects of the ministry to embody the love of God in Jesus Christ.

About Us

Nativity Day School strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where children are free to grow and develop into the unique individuals God has created them to be. Because children learn through play, we play a lot! Our curriculum also encourages early literacy skills, creative expression, and positive social interaction. Because NDS is a small school, children advance into each new class with the same friends they knew the year before. The sense of community the children develop with their peers is clear. For our 2k and 3k classes, a weekly chapel component led by the Pastor of Nativity Church supplements the spiritual leadership provided by classroom teachers. In Chapel, the children sing, pray, and hear a Bible story. Godly Play, a Montessori-based approach to Christian education, is the source of much of our Chapel Program.

Registration and Enrollment

The Nativity Day School offers programming for children from 6 weeks through the 3k year. Registration for all classes is generally held during the months of February and March. Promotions from the 2-year-old class to the 3-year-old class are usually done as a part of the fall enrollment process. Promotions for the youngest children are done when the teacher, director, and parent determine that the child is physically, emotionally, and socially ready to move up. For more information on enrolling your child in the Nativity Day School please contact our office at 662-455-6929.

Tuition

Tuition is paid by automatic draft or annually by check. For the August 2021 - July 2022 school year, the cost of enrollment is $485 per child for all ages.
