VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Groovy VBS 2026: Peace • Love • Jesus
August 3-5, 2026 | Episcopal Church of the Nativity
Get ready to step back into a time of peace, love, and Jesus at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity’s Groovy VBS 2026! This year’s theme, “PEACE • LOVE • JESUS,” invites children ages 4–11 to explore the miracles and teachings of Christ through a fun, retro-inspired lens. From August 3rd to 5th (8:30–11:30 a.m.), young participants will enjoy interactive Bible stories, creative crafts, far-out music, and groovy games — all designed to help them grow in kindness, compassion, and faith. Whether your child is homeschooled, in public or private school, or new to church, all are welcome to belong and grow with us.
Teens ages 12 and older are invited to volunteer as group leaders, games coordinators, craft assistants, or music helpers. Volunteering is a wonderful way to serve, build leadership skills, earn service hours, and share God’s love with younger children.
Important Shirt Information:
To guarantee a VBS t‑shirt in your child’s or teen’s size, registration must be completed by June 30, 2026. The registration form includes a field for shirt sizes, so please be sure to fill that out when you sign up.
This VBS reflects our mission as a Christian community where all are welcome to worship, love, belong, grow, and serve.

Call for Volunteers
We are planning for something BIG, which means we will needs LOTS of help! So, how can you help? If you are a parent of a child who will be at VBS, you can volunteer to help other adult volunteers chaperone the groups between the stations and activities. If you don't have children who will attend VBS, you can also serve by being a chaperone or helping with activities.
If you cannot help with chaperoning or with activities, we could use some help setting up the space. We will also need help with cleaning up after VBS. There's a way for anyone to lend a hand, so please let us know what you'd like to do!
We hope you'll join us for VBS, even if you don't have a child who will attend. There will be lots of love to go around for everyone!
