Help your church family spruce the place up a bit! On Saturday, March 30 all are invited to join us in a parish wide work day.

Help your church family spruce the place up a bit! On Saturday, March 30 all are invited to join us in a parish wide work day. Beginning at 8:30am, we’ll tend to tasks that require extra elbow grease and many strong backs. Among the tasks we’ll be completing is spreading new rubber mulch underneath the large playground, pressure washing our walkways and patios, and tending to the rose garden. If you have projects that you think we should consider tackling while we’re together, speak with our Junior Warden, Dean Kidd or our Structures Chair, Steve Williams.

Mission Mississippi (March 2019)

Mission Mississippi will meet for its March prayer breakfast on Thursday, March 7 at 6:45am at Greater Macedonia Church of God in Christ in Sidon. Greater Macedonia is located on Highway 49 on the east side of the road as you drive through Sidon. Join us for food, fellowship, and prayer as we change Mississippi one relationship at a time.

Morning Prayer during Lent

A group of Nativity folk will lead quiet services of Morning Prayer four days per week during Lent. If you are interested in helping lead, Peter will give an overview of how to do so on March 4 at 4pm

A group of Nativity folk will lead quiet services of Morning Prayer four days per week during Lent. Beginning Thursday, March 7, join them in the choir stalls to hear scripture and pray for the needs of the world each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7:15am until Easter. This service will last 20-30 minutes. If you are interested in helping lead, Peter will give an overview of how to do so on March 4 at 4pm

The Early Church: Struggle and Formation

Our democratically chosen adult forum on the first three centuries of the Church's history continues through March with one interruption. On March 4, we'll learn about the worship of the early Church. After Spring Break, we'll regather on March 18 to hear about the Church's relationship to Rome, including its persecution in the centuries before it became legal.

On March 25, we'll hear about some of the controversies the Church faced as it clarified what it meant to call oneself a “Christian.”
