VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Groovy VBS 2026: Peace, Love & Jesus – What a Far-Out Week!

What an incredible three days we shared at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity! From August 3rd to 5th, our parish hall was transformed into a colorful celebration of Peace, Love, and Jesus. We were overjoyed to welcome children ages 4-11, along with a fantastic team of teen and adult volunteers, for a week of music, games, and faith-filled fun.

Each day, our campers explored a different part of their faith journey:

  • Day 1: Peace – We learned that even when life feels stormy, Jesus gives us perfect peace, just as he calmed the sea.

  • Day 2: Love – Through the story of the Good Samaritan, we discovered that Jesus calls us to love everyone, no matter who they are.

  • Day 3: Jesus – We heard Jesus’ invitation to "Come, follow me," and celebrated our commitment to follow Him every day.

Our days were filled with joyful noise as we sang our core song, "Let There Be Peace on Earth," and many other favorites. The kids created beautiful crafts, played exciting games in the courtyard, and grew in their understanding of God's love.

Thank You!

A huge and heartfelt thank you goes out to all our amazing volunteers, group leaders, and parents. Your dedication and support made this VBS a truly special and memorable experience for our children.

Looking Ahead to 2027!

We're already dreaming and planning for next year's Vacation Bible School. Stay tuned for an exciting new theme that promises to be another unforgettable adventure!

Call for Volunteers *

We are planning for something BIG, which means we will needs LOTS of help! So, how can you help? If you are a parent of a child who will be at VBS, you can volunteer to help other adult volunteers chaperone the groups between the stations and activities. If you don't have children who will attend VBS, you can also serve by being a chaperone or helping with activities.

If you cannot help with chaperoning or with activities, we could use some help setting up the space. We will also need help with cleaning up after VBS. There's a way for anyone to lend a hand, so please let us know what you'd like to do!

We hope you'll join us for VBS, even if you don't have a child who will attend. There will be lots of love to go around for everyone!
